Stronger internals for a 4B12 engine for a turbo setup ???

Hi, I need to know if there are stronger internals (pistons and rods) available for the 4b12 2.4l engine.

I search the internet but no luck. Some people said that a st-4 caliber internals may work but I'm not sure of that.

I need the dimensions of the 4b12 lancer rods and pistons to look for a cross-reference parts that fits the 4b12 engine.

I'm planing turbo my car. I know you can made custom ones but they said at least 6 weeks to makes them and I'm running out of time.

I have all the turbo parts already, just waiting to change internals. Do you recommend running on stocks internals?

Any help is appreciated!

i suggest go ahead and order the custom ones, put your motor together FOR NOW with stock internals, then when the custom ones come in, your turbo kit is already "used to" the car, and you will be ready to boost more right when you get the custom pistons/rods in!

and make sure to get a lower CR, at most 9:1 like the evo

Anyone thinks that pistons and rods from the srt4 fits the lancer 4b12 2.4l engine?

i have lookin into this for awhile now... and my friend found pistons, rods,(among other things) for the 4b12. The Caliber srt the turbocharged one is the one you want to look at for the internals. the friend that found the stuff, has a friend with a Caliber srt with 500hp on stock motor......... thats its for now.... ill tell more later if i feel like it.... only cuz im trying to build the 4b12 for stronger internels..... And to answer your question in the other fourm, 7psi MAX with stock internals... i have the RRM turbo kit on my 4b12...

so bore and stroke - CHECK

now, you have to check the other main thing: the diamter of the big end of the rod! if SRT4 caliber rods are bigger than the Lancer rods as far as that diameter goes, you cant use them, OR you will ALSO have to get a bigger crank, which usually also means the mains on the crank will be bigger, meaning you will have to get your block custom machined. this is where i dont know what to do.....the evo x pistons will fit into my cylinders, but the rod big end diameter is bigger on the evox, meaning i would have to get a new crank. but since the evo x mains diameters' are bigger than the lancers, I would also have to either buy a new block or get mine machined. so basically, its 1 of 2 options:

-buy a whole evo X short block and HOPE all the accessories (power steering, AC, alternator, etc. ) fit onto that block, as well as the lancer head,

OR

-get my stock block sleeved, and get custom rods made (because I could still use the evo X pistons)

either way, its about the same cost, but sleeving my block is less of a headache I think because i KNOW everything will bolt right up to it, etc. but then again, if i buy a whole new evo motor, i have a spare, working motor......

there are a LOT of things to consider! this is why I am waiting to build my motor for a while after I get more money and have more time to think whats best.....

so basically, you also have to compare the specs of the crankshafts of your lancer and the caliber SRT4

Mitsubishi screwed up with the 2.4L , took the aftermarket by surprise, and with no help from asia. This solution has to come from North America for upgraded internals. Cause the 2.4L Lancer variant doesnt exist in Asia. So if you follow the numbers, its unlikely someone will develop this until the market is further saturated with more 2.4L lancers

If its compatible with the Dodge Caliber great, but I am unsure it will be as cut and dry compatible.
