Hoping to take the car to IA summer meet @ KY speedway. modified k member and rear mount so my axle angle is not so bad. installed new evo 8 axles. have all the intercooler piping complete other than welding in IAT bung. Finished turbo oil/feed lines. need to mount fuel pressure regulator and run fuel lines. And rewire fuel pump. My welder is out of shielding gas so have to wait to make exhaust and front motor mount brace. Ecu and omni bar map sensor got in last night so hopefully next week I can see if she will fire up. Then when my wastegate and Bov come in to try and tune. Will post pictures up later of the progress.

And people said it could not be done or would be uber expensive. If i did basic install counting buying motor trans and t-case less than 3k for swap. Now i did do or had friend do all custom fabrication needed. been working on and off on it for 3 years though now. so had lots and lots of time invested. and i made the wiring harness. now to make exhaust and finish lots of little things. Time to try and learn how to tune. fun....I completely forgot how to use ecuflash time to read.

02lancer if you ever change your mind and decide on going AWD you should get in touch with doncarbone... I just went through his build and it's definitely solid... probably a lot easier than my build.

Been awhile since I have posted but progress has been I actually had the car out and driving 2 years ago for a short time I didn't even get to tune it. I got some info on the transmission from a very reliable source that said it had to have the t-case spider gears welded or awd or that it would cause a clutch pack In the transmission to fail.... So car went away again...it is getting closer to completion round 2. Still need a lot of time but most hard parts are complete.

Thanks boss, I cut and 4 linked it with a Ford 8.8. the hardest part was keeping the stock rear seat in its factory location.
