Total Audio Noob needs HU help
ok so ive got an offer from a friend to take an Eclipse 3434 head unit off his hands for a really good price. Ive heard good things but does anyone really know about these head units ? Any advise or reviews would be great.

No its not, but the guy is a good friend and if something doesnt work i know he'll either make sure it gets fixed or just take the deck back.

Eclipse makes some of the best head units you can buy. Of course there are some that are better but I don't think youre trying to go pro. Eclipse, Nakamichi, and Alpine make some of the better units. I've heard that Alpines reliability is not what it used to be. From what I hear, and don't believe everything you hear, they are mass produced to the point that the build quality is crappier than they used to be.But get one that has the features you want. You cant go wrong with an Eclipse unit though. Good luck with it
