Remote starter installed.. Engine shuts off

I installed a remote starter on a 02 OZ. The car starts and idles for about 2 seconds and then shuts off. Does this car need some type of bypass?

Thanks.

You probably didn't energize another ignition circuit. There are 2 in most cars.

I energized 2 ignition circuits.

All the connections are good. Spliced and soldered.

Thanks for the replies.

Then it is probably a tach reference problem. Go to the uncommon injector wire and reprogram the tachometer reference. Did you energize the accy circuit too?

It's an Omega.

Made a call to the dealer and they gave a couple things to try. Won't have time to mess with it until Saturday but I'll report back if I solve the problem.

So it turns out the whole problem was a sensitivity adjustment for the engine running detection circuit on the remote starter itself. Easy fix and I feel dumb now.

Thanks for all the replies guys.

How long did it take you to install this? Did you have any skills?

It took me about 5 hours, but I wasn't working to make good time.

This is the first time I have ever installed one. I had all the wiring diagrams printed off from Mitchell OnDemand5 prior to attempting this.

I'll see if I can get them scanned this week and post them up. Probably won't be until this weekend.
