to port or not to port?

to port or not to port?

i have 2 12" subs in my trunk in a bandpass box ported and with plexiglass ... its a bit cracked causing the glass to vibrate .. i'm planning just to take the glass off but how do i know if subs should be ported or with plexiglass

I think completely sealed enclosures sound best. I also once had a ported and plexiglass competition box, and it would rattle my trunk even with the extensive dynamat extreme I have. I recommend ported over what you have now. I think the plexiglass is useless in some applications, but this is just my .02. Good luck!

i only run sealed boxes in my systems now. used to have bandpass boxes. will never go back.
