WORKS P1 Lancer Flash Available!
We just put the finishing touches on our 2008 Lancer P1 Flash. For the time being we are only flashing cars in house and will offer free dyno tuning with the purchase of a P1 Flash. The P1 Flash will start out at an introductory price of $399.
I'm trying to get the dyno charts up hear ASAP but the engineers tell me we are looking at gains of around 13 hp and around 8 lb-ft of torque as well as improved fuel economy.
Stay tuned for the dyno graph, which is coming soon.

Not to sound stupid but i figure i might as well ask you clear the air...
P1 lancer Flash...for some reason P1 indicates to me that there may be different versions of the flash in the future?? or am i just grabbing at nothing?

sounds fishy to me untill i see some dyno papers..

I'm wondering the same thing. I may be out of line to say this but $400.00 for only 13hp is kind of a waste of cash in my opinion.

For $400 13hp is good in my opinion. A lot of products wont get you that much for the cost. Especially if you get a free dyno tune, which can get you more hp if you have other parts.

We will probably be doing the free dyno tuning for the next 3-4 weeks. We haven't heard for sure yet, but mail in flashes will probably start around that same time frame.
Our initial flash was on a manual transmission car, but I believe we can flash the CVT as well (I'll double check that one) although we have messed with the CVT computre yet to change shifting perameters etc.
P1 is a designation we originally used for the EVO 8/9 Flash, it was the version where boost was left stock (for certain racing series). I think the name is a carry over from that, since the Lancer doesn't have any boost to tamper with. Other versions could potentially be available in the future, but for right now it's just the P1. I'll try and throw up a dyno sheet soon, and again the figure above was just what I heard. Dyno sheets will reveal the initial truth.
I'll try my best to keep you updated but we are quite busy at the shop so your best bet is to give us a call with your questions or email directly to info@worksmotorsports.com
We are located at Infineon Raceway in Sonoma.
