2004 Lancer ES PERFORMANCE MODS?
Hi guys im only 18 and i own a 2004 Lancer ES 2.0L 5 Speed
i would like some advice on what would be the most suitable performance mod. obviously im a young guy and want to make my car faster without spending too much money. any help will be greatly appreciated thanks

Well basically I have about $1800 to play with. I have read a few threads and a lot of people just saying turbo is the best way to go but because of my age I am unable to drive a turbo vehicle for another 4 years. So basically just want things that are relatively cheap and effective in improving performance

Honestly I don't have any, mine is stock since it is my daily driver I have another car for fun, I personally would never try to make a 4cyl a performance car, well maybe another 87/88 Ford Thunderbird Turbo Coupe lol.

I knew that would come up lol. Yeah they are pretty legit, I knew a couple guys with 600 whp evo's, but they come setup pretty awesome, I kind of want to buy and evo 9 for the wife, but as far as mods for a Lancer, I would say save up your money, learnt to have fun with this car maybe someone will have a great recommendation for exhaust and intake, and after a few years get a skyline or if you like any HSV vehicles go for that.

Yeah you guys have the Falcons out there right? Thos have the 5.0 in them, yeah FPV makes some awesome vehicles, I wish we could get FPV and HSV here, I am not a brand specific person I love Camaro's they happen to be my favorite car, but if it's fast I love it. Not really into modding 4 cylinder cars, but that doesn't mean I don't respect a nicely built one.
