Throttle Tight, then throttle loose problem
I dont know what is going on with my car, but when im driving it, sometimes the gas pedal will be ridicoulsly pushed in, and it goes slow, when i try to press on the gas, i press it all the way to the floor and it wont even kick into overdrive (Im using an automatic). Then the next day i use it and the throttle is light as a feather, i can tap it and the throttle responds, and i feel like i have way more power... this has been happening forever, i thought it was a loose throttle cable, but i tightened it, and check it after it ran like crap, the throttle cable was tight.

check the clips underneath the hood that hold the cable to another cable, the clip might be pinched a bit. or if you have zip ties holding the cables together, make sure the zip ties aren't tight. cause it would hinder response and it would also mess up cruise control. That's all i can think of.

Also check to make sure that your TB is opening easily.. could be sticking like one TB I had here and not opening easily. You could just take it off and clean it, and try to eliminate that aspect of the problem. If you know it is not the TB, then yo ucan try tracing the throttle cable and see if that is snagging on something.
