Greddy ti-c bumper issue fix
After installing the exhaust I noticed that it was the same height as the people whos bumpers
melted so I immediately took a trip down to home depot with a friend. We decided to make a fix
just like Greddy.
We found a " #304 U- Bolt 1/2" pipe zinc plated" piece of hardware shown below
The U bolt on the left is what I am talking a bout, it comes with the silver "bracket" with two
holes, as you can see Its already been mounted onto the last hangar. To do this it has to be drilled
out to fit the hardware you decide to use. I used 4/16"( i believe it was 4/16") X 2" nut bolt and washer for the hangar and the stock bolt to mount it to the frame.
basically its greddys fix but only cost about 1.68 and you dont have to wait for them to send it to you.
to put it on simply place the flat bracket on the "backside" of the frame where it has the nut welded "where its
threaded to hold the last hangar in place above the exhaust exit in the bumper", screw the stock nut in place and tighten.
Now here is where you can adjust the hangar, put it on the exhaust and adjust as necessary, now when it is where you wnat it , tigthen the 4/16" bolt or which ever bolt you get, that is holding the hangar to the bracket.
your exhaust should look like this
Correct me if I am wrong but the exhaust now hangs correctly in order to avoid melting.
