Head swap

Can I swap any 4G9x head onto my 4G94 lancer?

Yes. It's possible. My head just went out last week. LLT racing in australia has some DOHC heads that I'm entertaining as a swap. Check 'em out. LLTracing.com

Wouldn't I have to convert my engine tho to DOHC becuase the 4g94 engines are SOHC .
Any what type of gains would I get

Gains would be very minimal, why would you want to do this?

there's a version of the 4G92 that is DOHC but I don't believe it's North American.

another user brought this up and was contemplating doing a full 4G92 swap into his OZ Rally as opposed to a 4G69.

a few of us recommended the 4G69 as even with the DOHC 4G92, you're only gaining about 10hp over the base 4G94. Might as well build the 4G94 as best as you can and turbo the *****
