Hi so I have been looking into upgrading the camshaft on my 03 lancer, but it seems that the stage 1 camshafts on rrm have been sold out. I have read around that the 4g93 camshafts work on 4g94's like a stage 1 cam... but the problem is that there is a bit of a misconception between threads, where some say that it is a direct fit and others say it needs modification.

I would really like to do this swap but would like to know what I am getting into first. Any help is appreciated

I believe it's a direct swap. The rrm camshaft is a mirage camshaft. Are you boosted?

Alright that's good to know, and no I'm just building it up N/A for now and if the body and engine lasts then I plan to go turbo

I'm not sure the camshaft is worth it for NA. One guy a while back had a fully built NA engine and was only able to get about 120hp with a cam. His pistons and rods were also upgraded as well. So far the biggest thing for power is boost for our cars.

Yeah I'm aware, just thought it would help more to get this stuff done before going turbo
