Best cruising RPM? Best speed for max MPG?

Just rub it on why don't you I am actually in the market for a piggyback again. I've got the header, intake and exhaust, now I need to maximize them.

wow, you folks that are still on the stock setup (this doesn't include people with a timing change) that willingly putting above 87 octane in your cars need to check out the fuel threads. You're actually doing some serious harm to your engine, especially if you're cruising at 3K-3.5K RPM I'm scrubbing the carbon deposists out of my spare cylinder head right now, and honestly, I'm surprised the previous owner had enough power to drive freeway speeds.
you're not really getting more power and you can't be getting better fuel economy, our engines can't actually take advantage of higher octane fuel.
Chances are it's simply the conditions you're driving in that allow you to get your higher MPG, and using the cruise control setting.
try to argue here: https://www.evolutionm.net/forums/sh...d.php?t=107330

You'd be surprised...
Yes, I'm aware that the RRM PB changes timing and fuel delievery that mandates 91oct. I must have missed the part where you said you were running a PB. My bad. I'll add a few words to the above post.
Still, the fuel discussion is worth a look.

how on earth..........my light comes on every single tank like a robot at 250 miles. i usually get to a station whenever my light comes on jsut because. i get AT MOST 26 mpg. generally closer to 24. I use 87 octane and run 35 psi on my bridgestone potenzas. other than tires and rims im stock. i have intake and exhaust under xmas tree tho........
at any rate......i shift around 3 grand and use crusie control at 65. this is going to and from school 2 days a week.......so of 250 miles about 150-200 are freeway. how on earth are you guys getting above 30? even mits says we shouldnt expect anything better than 29 on the freeway. and you know they are prolyl giving padded numbers........
