IAT sensor location on 4G15?
Just wondering where the Inlet Air Temperature sensor is on a 4G15 engine? Is it the plug right against the butterlfy or is the plug along the inlet manifold body itself? Also does and 4G engine fit into a 97 CE lancer Coupe? Any recommendations on an upgrade something that will bolt right in like a 4G93 or something?

This club is 99% 4G94s. I'm afraid not many of us know 4G15s.

Most likely, but I don't know for sure. Any idea what that would compare to? If it's similar to our Mirage, then yeah, definitely.

Probably, but if you're going to put the effort into a swap, do it with a better engine. Swapping in the newer 4G15T MIVEC engine from the Colt Ralliart might be a better starting point.

sorry but i was meant to sa a 4G93 engine, and could someone give me some specs on the $g15T MIVEC, things like KW, feul consumption, torque, and the benifits of having one apposed to the 93 or 94 engines?

I'd suggest you contact RPW. They're located in Australia (like you are), and they know a lot about Lancers.

Some googling will give you that information. We don't have that engine in the US and don't really have any info to give. +1 to what the sheep said, contact RPW, since they're based in Australia.
