Headliner Cleaning?
Well after years of having my lancer I'm starting to notice the headliner. It's starting to look all dark and funky. How can I go about cleaning it w/o ruining it?

I just did the headliner and everything else in my Taurus to get the smoker smell out and I used a carpet cleaning machine with an upholstery attachment. I put the pet stain and odor version of some carpet cleaing concentrate in there.
It looked kinda streaky at first but when it dried it looked good (except for the spots I missed DOH!)

I took my car to the Car wash place and they had a carpet special and I just ask him to just carpet clean the headliner and he said sure. So, he ended up cleaning the headliner with the steam cleaner. =] im happy
