lancer 2002 ignition coils HELP
OK here is tha deal i have a lancer 2002 OZ tha is not getting spark (juice) on piston 3-4 (diagram shows piston order timing bel side is 1-3-4-2) i did replace that ignition coils then i check for any electric issues on the hardness and find that ignition coil connector for 3-4 piston dont send electric current color green/black cable. i did check the other ignition coil connector and that one works blink and get current normal . my question is where u thing is the problem?

The ECU directly controls the primary signal to the ignition coils. Check for broken wires in the harness. Failure of the ECU itself would be extremely rare but nevertheless possible.

Hey Mitsu-
You say you replaced the ignition coils, but did you also replace them with stock OEM coils? Stock coils already have too weak of a spark to be able to handle the pressure on performance cars, in most cases.
You might want to look into these coils : Plasma Direct coils. They're performance igntion coils, high quality, made in Japan. They give you four times the spark of normal coils, plus more power overall.
I know you can look up some of the dealers, but they are sold by Plasma Projects here in Europe. I know one of their dealers here in Germany, and he has a lot of good things to say on the coils.
This is to their website: https://shop.plasmaprojects.com/product_info/2/Plasma_Direct.html
Hope this bit helps!

I had the damnest problem with my coils, completely replace and get the correct spark plugs and you should be fine. Mine ate two sets right away due to wrong spark plugs. Good luck man! Hope everything works out well.
