09 lancer SE HID problem
Hello, I was hoping someone was able to help me with this issue, I recently bought and installed a LUMENS Xenon HID conversion kit for my 2009 Lancer SE.
Kit: http://www.lumenshid.com/files/Singl...structions.pdf
The above link is the exact kit I have, 9006 bulb.
When I start my vehicle both lights flicker and one of the DRLs stay on, not always the same light so its not an issue with the ballasts or bulbs, both ARE functionning, however all the power seems to go to one bulb or the other...any suggestions!
Thanks for your help in advance!

go on ebay and buy one of these

I had the same problem when I first bought the car and installed HID into my car...both would work.

I purchased a (DRL) Day time running light harness from where I bought my HID kit, its working now, also a little trick, if you keep your e-brake on when car is off all you have to do is turn lights on after start up then you can put e-brake down, by-passes DRL issue however this means your interior night lights will be on at all times...
Does anyone know if it is harmful to attach the negative prong (black prong) directly to the battery for the harness or should it be placed on the body?

Hey Veronica, I can't say I had any problem with my radio reception it could be the channel itself that you're on, I noticed one specific channel give out static every now and then....

It should be fine attaching the negative prong to the battery, but if you want to be on the safe side you can attach it to the body.
