lancer de 2009 oil choice for engine with a lot of sludge
I have a 2009 lancer DE with 70K that has a lot of oil sludge. What do you guys recommend for an oil? Everywhere I look, the recommendations are for the evo with Mobil 1 5W-30 High Mileage Full Synthetic Motor Oil, 5 qt. for $25.17 at walmart What will clean up the sludge the best?
Also are the oem filters the best to use for the above issue or should I get another brand filter?
I drive the car pretty hard and my average one way commute is 20 miles through moderate traffic.
I think I also need a radiator fluid drain and fill. What's a recommended radiator fluid brand and model #?

At the next oil change. Pour in 1/3 can of SeaFoam[tm]. Run at idle for 10 minutes. Drain and finish doing the oil change as normal. This should clean the oil passages of sludge.
The oil is not causing sludge. Just change your oil more often. EVO and RA require Mobil1 due to the stress the turbo puts on the oil. You should not need it.
For the radiator - any quality fluid (i.e Prestone) will be fine.
