Audio System Help
So is there any specification that I have to look for when buying new dash receiver. Do i need an AMP or anything of that sort of kind. Is there gonna be compatibility issues with my regular speakers.
I was also wondering what features do these dash receivers have because they vary a lot in price. I also want to go for a better future proof solution as I'll upgrade the speakers as well.
Thanks

Does it currently have the Rockford/Fosgate or a standard (non-RF) headunit?
What is your goal? Much louder - or just to sound better & maybe a bit louder?
What is your budget (including installation)?
What features do you need/want? Navigation? CD? Link to iPhone? Bluetooth/wireless phone?

It has the stock receiver on it at the moment.

I was thinking on adding a bass later on, and that's about it. Maybe a bit louder and a better sound quality.

I have a good budget, but I don't want to go over board. Probably around $500. TBH i have no idea how much this would cost me.

Well bluetooth(prefered) or aux would be perfect. CD is irrelevant for me. Not sure how Navigation would look when the slot is not too big. I feel it would look ricey. Let me know what you think.
Oh i also wanted to let you know that my car is a 2005 ralliart. Sorry for not discussing that.
Thanks
