Does anyone know about this stuff???
I found this stuff by 3M called chipguard. It a clearcoat film that goes over your paint, and supposedly stops chips and scratched.
Might be worthwhile on our cheap paint.
Anyone know anything about this stuff, does it work, look good, comprimise finish in anyway??

In my opinion all that stuff is a ripp off. DO you really think you can stop a rock going who knows how fast from chipping your car. If you want to TRY to stop chips get a bra. Just my .o2

I think that it works quite well. My only dislike is that you car will not have that *shine*...you can barely see it, but it is noticeable. If you are just wanting to make your new car remain new, I think it is a great idea. Yes, it will stop rock ships. This is the 2000's, not the 80's dude...bra's aren't cool anymore!
