trust me to bring a used evo here is very expensive beacuse the mitsu dealers do not stock these cars and the only used car dealer that had these in stock have only decided to special order these cars yeah the older evos are very reasonable but even a good used evo 3 is still going for like 10,000 usd whether u order it or buy it locally from a dealership or someone here but this is something i have always wanted to do and i love the newer model evos and the only one i know for sale right now is a Evo 9 GT going for like 33000 which is a good price condsidering there are only 100 in the world and he spent like almost $50,000 for it and another EB evo 9 that is for a couple thousand less infact i know a guy who recently brought an 03 evo 8 that cost him almost 25,000 to land it here and the car is basically stock with suspension exhaust and rims

do you guys think i should get the transmission first before i start welding and fabricating the mount brackets? because what i have found out is that the transmission mount is the same as the lancers and that the front engine mount looks pretty much the same also.the back is definately different and the passenger side engine mount is different but that will be taken care of.

You might need a new fuel tank before the driveshaft and such will fit.

ya if you lived in the states it would be 100x easier to just pic up an evo for a decent price. but hey, thats what swaps are for!.. hope your build goes well.. ill be getting a new car soon, figured i would just get an evo, so ill have a turbo'd lancer and a evo.. lol. i might not really do that but it would be fun for me! ill deginatly keep this thread on my eye
