Want Adjustable Struts/Shocks?
As some of you already know, good struts are crucial in making a car corner well, but at the moment, the two most prominent makers of adjustable shocks and struts have no intentions of manufacturing shocks for the lancer in the near future. I believe that this is because they have not heard enough requests for them, and therefore do not see a market large enough to put fourth the research and development. So if you want to see some quality shocks available for the Lancer any time soon, I suggest you do what I did and email both of these companies asking for such a product.

We are in the early stages of developing an application for the FWD Lancer but it will still be quite some time before something is released. Thanks for writing.

Someone wanna ask what happened with the prototype ILP Performance sent them? I still wanna know how they messed that up. I 99% sure Jeff had them done months ago (I saw the fronts around January or February) and test fitted them on Ben's (SmoktOut) car.

it's the rears that are the *****, as the Cedia fWD platform uses rear shocks that are spicific to that vehicle only, koni was able to source the fronts no problem the rears however are a full 6" shorter then ANY application they currently have if it was a matter of valving them I could have them tomorow however it's a matter of making new Dies and tools. KYB will be the first to come out as they allrready make the factory ones and have the dies.
AND the EVO Mirage ETC use a diffrent rear suspension design too so unless you transfer some suspension components they will never fit.
lemme make a phone call real quick and see what I can find out.
thanks
Jeff@ilp
PS koni USA will not know of the prototypes as they were produced in house with support from another koni custom MFG.
