PLEASE HELP. rim bore too small for hub

i got some rims and the center bore on them are too small for the lancer hub... when i try to fit the rims on they get stuck on the center hub and dont fit flush. when i take out the center caps i can see that they clear the hub protector cap but need about 2mm/3mm more to clear the rest of the center hub.. the question i have is what do i do about this problem because i really want to keep these rims..

1) get them bored out? (but does it really mess up the structural integrity of the rims?
2) is it easy enough to bore them out myself?
3) will spacers me safe enough
4) ??

please help, thank you

You can either get spacers to fill the size and no worries as long as you dont go over 8mms you are fine i have been "Tracking" my car for more then 2 years with them on and not a problem with them . Or you could also get the rims machined to fit .

Best of luck

thanks for the quick reply antonio.. idk, i dont really want to use spacers because they way they sit now look pretty good...
i know they will be my last option.. what spacers do you use??

about how much would it cost to get the rims machined to fit?? only need about 2-4mm bored out..

if i put spacers the offset will be a little too low, heres how they sit and if i fix the problem they would be a little more in..

So you are driving with them not siting flush in the center of the bore?
Pictures would help if possible . Also not sure on the price it really depends on the shop . I am also running wheel spacers from Ebay but not the cheaper quality , a seller on there custom makes Spacers in hub centeric and in good quality for a good price . There not the universal cheap sets either .
