Will 18x9 rims fit 2014 Lancer Es

I have a 2014 Lancer Es
My lancer currently has to motegi 16 rims and i wanted to go to 18. There is also Tein lowering springs on it as well. I think they lower it 1 to 1.5 inches, but im not sure since i bought the car used with 10k miles.
(There is a pic of the side view below)

So now my question i know 18s will fit the lancer as long as its +35ish and has the 5x114.3 bolt pattern, but im not sure if theses 18x9s will fit.

These are the rims I want to try
http://www.ebay.com/itm/18X9-35-STR-524-5X114-3-5X120-MATT-BRONZE-WHEELS-FIT-5X4-5-5X4-75-CONCAVE-RIMS-/111485937221?pt=Motors_Car_Truck_Parts_Accessories&hash=item19f5146645&vxp=mtr#vi-ilComp
So will these 18x9 rims fit my lancer with the lowering spring installed or will it rub?
Also if they don't fit what would be the proper width for me to look into?

I would also like to keep the tire total height as close to the same as it is now so that i want have to calibrate my speedometer.

1 Final thing. I'm selling my rims and tires thats on this car. They are Motegi mr107 16x7 rims and Yokohama tires. the tires have maybe 2k miles on them if that much and the rims are in great shape so if your interested then message me. They will be pickup only though

yes it will rub. You're going to have to roll your rear fenders.

I had 17x8 +38 and rubbed a bit on bumps. Having a 18x9 with +35 will rub pretty good.

Thanks for the reply. Its kinda like thus forum site is dead lol but getting back to the topic. Do you still have your rims on your car. If so could you post a pic. I havent decided on what size i want yet and i dont want the rims to look too big for the car.

I don't have the lancer any more but I did save the pics of it when it had those 17x8 wheels. They were evo 8/9 mr bbs wheels. Just need need to find my old phone.

to me 18x8 is the biggest i would put on a fwd na lancer. I've seen guys and gals having to go full hella flush complete with lots of negative camber and super stretched tires because they insisted on having 18x9.5 wheels which just for looks at that point. It probably lowers the performance of a already low performing car because of a lot surplus weight compared to the stock tire and wheel setup. Different folks, different strokes.

I liked my 17x8 bbs because they looked like a manufacture option rather than a obvious after market wheel. 17in tires are pretty cheap compared to 18in tires too

Thats kind of what i wanted to go for. I want it to look good but look factory or a bit more sporty. I agree that some people put stupid size tires, but thats not me and it looks ugly.

Hey guys its been quite a while, but i dont want to be one of them people that asks for help and never follow through like so many others. So heres my pics. I ended up going with a different rim 18x 8.75 and had to roll rear fenders.

Looks great dude! I was wondering the same thing. I have a set sitting around from my 240 that I was thinking about using on my sportback but wasn't sure. They're 17x9 +12 offset. Was going to lower it on RRM GRIP springs. Are you lowered yet with your current wheel setup?

Lol the wheels i used were 18x8.75 with +35 offset with 215/45/r18 falken tires and yea i have some tein lowing springs on it which drops it around an inch to 2 inches at most, so to answer your question it would probably stick out way to far. But then again you have 17 inch rims so it may fit it may just poke out past the fenders around an inch. Since you have them already i would stick 1 of them on just to see. Wouldnt hurt anything. I had to get my rear fenders rolled (funny story about my fenders being rolled though) for my tires to fit and have some slightly stretched tires put on so they would fit my lancer (without stretched tires they wouldn't fit my car without any any rubbing issues after the fenders were done) but the front has tons of room and didnt have to touch the fenders. With my tires the rim is exactly flush with both front and rear fenders. And by the way in a few of them pics the rims look scratched up, but thats just dirt. i hadn't washed my car at that time and i had just painted my calipers black. notice the block of wood under the tire lol. i cant get a jack under my car without a piece of wood lol

Now the funny part is that i took my car to a customizing place and asked them to roll my fenders and they said yea we do fender rolls. i have the tires and rims in my car can you put them on as well. They said yea and proceeded to take my car. I asked if i could just watch to see what they were doing because im funny about my car and they were cool with it but then they took a saw and literately cut the fender lip out of my car. when i asked why they cut my fenders they simply said its better to cut them. i cried a little bit because my car had only 12k miles on it (now 15k) and they said they were rolling my fenders not mutilating them. they said rolling my fenders was impossible which was a lie, they probably didnt know how. but long story short ive got absolutely no rubbing AT ALL but ill probably have rust problems later on since i live at the beach. i cried hard when they broke out that saw though lol

Damn that sucks! I probably would've dove in front of my car when I saw a saw comming towards it! Maybe just tape off the outside of your fender and spray the exposed metal flat black.....not a pro fix but at least you wont have any bare exposed metal to rust.
