TPMS Replacement Question. Click to help a dude out

Hey folks,
I have used the search feature, but was not able to find a solution.

Question: I have 3 working TPMS sensors, and one that was replaced with a normal scraehder valve. I now need to replace the TPMS sensor that is missing. I am NOT sure which tire is now missing it, since all the valves look the same at this time.
1st question: How can I differentiate the NON TPMS from the TPMS?
2nd Question: Can i buy the ONE sensor from Tire rack, then just have the dealer reprogram it?
3rd question: Will ANY TPMS sensor that says it is compatible work?
4th Question: Is it best to go to dealer, or can Discount Tire/ Mr Tire fix this reliably?

Thanks

Part numbers would be such a bonus too.

Go to Discount Tire and buy a sensor from them. Around here it's only $60 per sensor installed/programmed to your car. They'll be able to figure out which wheel it is that doesnt have the sensor in it.

Thanks for this. I called Mr TIre and they wanted 70-100 for the sensor alone, then 20 for the install. The dealer wants 115 install/sensor/ total...Im selling the car, but want the light to go away. Thanks for the response
