Master Cylinder Part

I had my clutch installed at AAMCO Maplewood, MN and took it in for service at 6000 miles on the clutch since at all of a sudden will not go into gear at times. They said they wanted to repair such and such before a test drive and I thought it was shady so I took it to another shop to do the work they asked for (tire rods). My luck the car will not go into gear little after the work was done the new shop looked at it and suspected the master cylinder, but recemmended taking it to AAMCO for better diagnosis. After towed there they ordered a new master cylinder and hoses that connect to it.

Now after a week they said mitsubishi does not make the lines anymore and needs to have one built, but no one can do it. I am without a car and all this sounds really shady. They said the part number they need is 519379, but I can not find it anywhere. Any ideas?

This is all suppose to cost me 420 for parts and labor.

update: 2003 mitsubishi lancer oz rally
I showed up to the shop and ask them to show me what the piece was. It was the line that goes from the master to slave clutch cylinder. After talking with them even longer and being persistent that if it does not solve the issue I will refuse to pay, they are taking out the tranny to look at it as part of the warranty.

newer update:
The problem with the clutch was that the vehicle would not go into gear when the vehicle was started. When you try to put it into gear it feels like there is something blocking it and the clutch pedal feels soft. When trying to push it into gear the vehicle moves a bit as well.
They put a camera into the slave cylinder and found that it was wet, so I persisted that it was not the clutch master cylinder and the issue may be internal. I will keep you guys updated.
mci2727 got the part right.

update:
I ordered the piece, brought it in. They replaced the master clutch cylinder and added the piece. My vehicle is working now. Thanks guys. The issue I would guess would of been just the master.

If it truely is the line that goes from the master cylinder to the slave cylinder then you can get it from RRM http://www.roadracemotorsports.com/s...products_id=12 for $80.

It's better then factory too because it's stainless steel and it makes your clutch feel alot better.

yur talking the clutch master right? the part that is in between the brake master with the resivoir and the clutch slave cylinder? or are you talking about the actual line that goes from the clutch master to the clutch slave?

you need to be more specific about what master to better diagnose.

I was talking about the clutch master and the part mci2727 listed is the part AAMCO pointed out. I am unsure how they would have trouble finding a replacement part for it. I will let you guys know what happens with this in a few days.

Your slave cylinder has gone out, for sure.
No doubt about it.

Very common issue with our cars.
May have also jacked your clutch up by now, hopefully not.
Replace the slave and line while you're at it and it'll drive great, as long as your clutch is still in good shape.

They ended up replacing master as well as slave clutch cylinder and the line that connects both together. My car is finally in working condition after about a month in the shop. Thanks guys.
