Question Lancer es Auto to manual

Ok this is my situation... i have a 04 lancer es that is my ``project car`` but it`s automatic. My friend`s dad and i could do the swap alone maybe next year after my mechanics class is over. I was wondering which manuel tranny and which part would i need for a complete swap? (I need to know EVERY part i need, please help!)
Thanks, Alex

first off i am going to sound rude but, search is your friend! there are numerous threads about swapping.

the easiest way to do it.....sell the auto and buy a manual...

but just off the top of my head you need:
trans
cables
center console
ecu
shifter and bracket
clutch

and some more that i cant think of now

yes ok i know it would be easyer to just sell mine and buy a new one but i want to do it for a project and gain experience with me doing the swap. And also if you could please link any threads where someone did the swap with the steps it would be appreciated.

I've seen dozens of threads of people with the same idea. I've yet to see anybody complete this. Too much money

There have been a few people that have completed the manual trans swap. I've helped them with the wiring of the VSS and reverse gear sensors. It is a very inexpensive swap to perform.

Then all i would need to know is exactly ALL the parts that would be required for the swap so i can drive it asap!!!
If someone knows the parts in detail please post!!!
