this code came on my 03 lancer yesterday. from what i read its transmission range sensor circut malfunction w/e the heck that is...
it further stated that it get triggered w/e u go from N to d/d1/d2 or somthin like that.. i also found its a dealer part..
i tried and cleared the code too see if it was a false warning cause i did act went from n to d but the code comes back
....does any1 know if this is a serious issue?
the lancer shifts fine btw....my trans is a atx
fluid lvls are ok, could somethin came loose when i went from [n] to [d]

I googled it and came up with this http://wiki.answers.com/Q/What_is_a_..._Jeep_Cherokee
They say get it fixed right away.
Can cause shifting issues and make it hard to stop your car.
I wouldn't chance it, get it fixed right away.
