tiptronic shifter swap....successfully done
Works perfect for me...took me an hour and half to take off the old one and install the tiptronic shifter. Now my SE lancer 2008 is now 6speed.

Paddle shifters are plug and play too. I'm not too sure about the cruise but if you get the buttons they should be plug and play on the steering wheel since the harness is already there and it should be programmed in already.

I have a 2015 es and I bought the paddles but I can’t find anywhere to plug them in any help?

you have to have the wiring harness.. I read that it’s tape so you have to look right there but I took mine to a mechanic I know and he put them on for me and they work really good..

I checked everything and couldn’t find a harness anywhere to connect to the paddles harness. I might just have to take it to a mechanic and have them figure a way to wire it up then.

I have a 2011 lancer ES, and I am willing to do this mod because I know that I am not selling it for a while. Does anyone know which year does the assembly shifter from the gts has to be. I saw that the 2009 gts assembly did not work on the 2011 es. Does it have to be an older year??

most of the 08 de/es's don't have cooler and some 09's don't either. by 2010 every cvt had a tranny cooler, except for a few random instances. If you don't have a tranny cooler you can add one from a gts or from es/de that had one standard. but you'll need more than just the cooler and the lines. you also need to install the inner tranny cooler that has the extra inlet and outlet lines to accommodate the external cooler.
