I finally replicate the problem at dealershop

I did move the car with a computer connected to it. They found that the throtle opened only a small percentage when the problem occurred. My throttle body has been changed, then a sensor and now I expect a new computer that is currently backorder but they said it will take time before receiving it.

Wow. Sucks you had to go through that, but at least it's taken care of.

09 lancer GTS CVT

I'm currently having this issue. Girlfriend tried to jump a yellow, lost power and got t-boned. Took off the back bumper, cracked a rim, frames still good, things a friggn tank. I personally think it's the transmission speed sensor, or maybe even the TCM. I run my code reader and get $07e8 and 07e9 (modules not codes) which I believe correspond to engine and transmission, but I dont have the check engine light on, so it's not really showing anything. Replace your input output sensors. Or at the very least clean up the connections. Look for spilled cvt fluid, or engine oil, or verdigris.
My issue occurs at different times. Happened to me on the Highway when I pulled on from the on ramp, lost power when I hit 6th, engine revs, but power is severely limited, for about 6 seconds. This has happened daily to my gf on her ride to work. Waits at a red with a slightly downward angle slope, takes a left when green and loses power every time. I'm attempting the VSS, and TCM. Mechanic is of no help either, as he is useless without codes from the reader. If anyone does hear anything, please let me know. I've put a lot of money into the car and would hate to have to sell it over a no doubt minor fixable sensor issue
