Lancer Horn
Hey Guys,
my horn has stopped working. It's not the physical horns as I had those replaced earlier this year. My thought is that it is the connection between the steering wheel horn sensor and the wire that travels to the horns.
Does anyone know how difficult/easy it is to get at the horn sensor, and if the airbag needs to be removed?
Any helps is greatly appreciate!
PS. When I press the horn, nothing happens... it was sticking for a while, but now, nothing.

Thanks for the reply. I will definitely check the fuse before taking anything apart. Hopefully it's a quick fix.
Keeping my fingers crossed!!!
PS. Do you know if there is a how-to on how to remove the airbag?

Not sure if there is a how to but its pretty straight forward. Disconnect the battery and let it sit for a little bit. Then there is a little panel on the side of the steering wheel you can pop off that gives you access to disconnect the airbag electrical connections and the horn its 2 or 3 bolts either 8 or 10mm IIRC. you have to access from the back of the steering wheel. You may find your problem by simply pulling off that panel and shining a light in there to see if it came unhooked or something.
