So I've made an "SRS light" thread a few weeks back. I took the car to the dealership for it to be diagnosed and have found that something called the "clock spring" was broken.

My friend has a 2003 Lancer (I drive a 2004 btw) and is taking it out apart and selling.

For those who have worked with clock springs, is it possible for my friend to pull out the clock spring from his '03 Lancer and put it into my '04 Lancer?

P.S I bought a set of fog lights and installed them. They are currently just white/clear fog lights. I know I should have bought the "yellow" tint.

Is there some kind of plastic/cover to put on my fog lights to have the "yellow" effect? Something that is transparent, and can withstand high temperatures...

There is tint spray you can buy to tint the lenses of headlights, taillights, fog lights etc. Might be able to find one for the yellow look you are wanting to achieve. As far as the clock spring you speak of I believe that is located inside the steering wheel. I would imagine the 03 and 04 are interchangeable although I would think you can call a mitsu dealership and have them look up the part number for the 03 and 04, if they match then there you go.
