Depo Projector Headlights, Should I modify the terrible cuttoff?

Hello everyone,

Well Ive had a pair of chrome Depo Headlights in for the past 6 months and even though I like them theyve been nothing but a pain in the butt. The wiring is cheap and brittle, forcing me to replace the whole wiring with 10 gauge hooked to a relay.

Now I know the projectors have a not so good cutoff but what bothers me is that my passenger side projector cuttoff is angled and curved upward making it impossible to properly align. I know I can open it up and make the cutoff go from an ECE style to a Flat line style but is it worth it to open it all up. I know the projector lenses seem smoky too but I dont have the experience replacing projectors and retro fitting a new one in place of the old. So should i just modify the cutoff or invest in brand new projectors?

Several here (me included) have just adjusted the cutoff. Theres a post in the Show and Shine by Avirex that explains how to do so. IMO, opening them up isnt worth it.
