2002 Lancer ES Shift hard around 20mph
I have a 2002 Lancer ES that is shifting hard around 20 miles per hour. If I go very slowly up in speed it happens around 20, if I go very quickly up in speed it happens between 25-30 mph. Other than that, I never have a problem with it shifting hard.
The mechanic scanned the car and it came back with a 421 code for the catalytic converter.
I once had someone clean out the converter because it was shifting hard and it had worked great for about 4 months.
My question is would the catalytic converter let the car shift hard???
