complete lack of power after timing belt shredded

So a little bit ago my car died (2003 oz rally , completely stock) while driving. After some diagnosis I find that the "teeth" on the timing belt shredded off in one spot. So I replaced it and set the timing of course. Now when I drive I have no power from a stop and basically wont even move if the a/c is on. Also it wont maintain speed above 55mph unless the engine revs to 4-5k all other speeds are at normal rpm. Theres no cel or codes being thrown and the engine is a littke louder almost like I put on an exhaust.

Any ideas where to begin? Im thinking possibly a bent valve or something along those lines cause when the belt broke and trying to start the motor after it died and before I discovered the bad belt.

Thanks in advance

You could have bent some valves or damaged a piston.

Yeah, very least I'd say valve damage. If not some nice remodeling of the piston face as well.

given the situation with his timing mishap, a cat being clogged at the same time would be a huuuuugggeee coincidence. do a compression test
