Rattling from brake??
Hello guys my apologies if this is not the right place to post this question.
My 2002 Lancer ES currently has this rattling that occurs when going over bumps. The rattling is located mainly on the front right wheel and slight rattling on the front left wheel. Thing is, if I go over the bumps while pressing the brakes, then the rattling noise goes away completely. Can anyone help please? Thanks!

Did you have the pads and/or rotors replaced recently? The only thing I can say is to get the more troublesome side up on a jackstand, pull the tire off and give the caliper a good looking over, wiggle it back n forth to check for any movement. If it wiggles a bit you've found your problem, the retaining bolts aren't/ weren't torqued to spec.
