Blinker Multifunction Switch
I think my multifunction switch is going out. Maybe. Or maybe it's the front ECU.
Once in a while the switch on the left side just fails to do anything. No lights....no blinkers....no nothing. I've read that that is either the multifunction switch or the front ECU. I've had this fail about 4 or 5 times. Whats wierd is that 3 of those times the windshield wipers also fail to work, but those are on a completely different switch. At least I think they are.
Would this be indicative that the front ECU is failing instead of the multifunction switch? Are there two multifunction switches, one for blinkers, and one for wipers?
Any help would be awesome. I'm worried that my girl is going to get caught in a rainstorm and the wipers/blinkers refuse to work. Any thoughts?

The problem very rarely happens. I don't have a switch that I can just try out unfortunately. I also don't know if there are two switches or just the one.....becuase sometimes the wipers fail along with the blinkers.

Its a tricky one. Unless you can get it to fail and have a tech look at it at the time of failure, then you will have no idea what it is for sure. But, price out a center column ECU. Could also be an intermittent power or ground loss to the center column ECU.
