Skyline vs. Evo MR
Imagine a world in which the (I believe) third generation 2002 Nissan Skyline GT-R R34 Spec II, and the 2005 Lancer Evolution were both free, but you could only have one. Which one would you take and why??

I just fell in love with the Skyline today when I learned it could go be switched from AWD to RWD and not to mention all of the information you canget on the LCD. It's like every gauge in one, including g's!! Not to mention that sweet 2.5L twin-turbo I6. I may become a convert.

^^^ i will convert, the countdown in my sig. I love the evoMR, but noway am i choosing it over the gt-r, that is the GOD-CAR, or shall i say, if god was to pick one car to race in, he'd choose a skyline himself.

EvoLife you have much to learn about the skyline. The GTR spec sports a 2.6 liter inline 6cyl....hence the RB26DETT. Additonally getting a R34 to run in pure RWD is not as easy as flicking a switch. Back on topic...if I have to choose I would want a 1994 R32 Skyline GTR VSPEC-II or R32 GTR-NISMO. Although less refined, there is something about the raw power of the R32 that to me is worth giving up some gizmos for.

the skyline has an active diff that distributes the torque between the front and rear. when driving normally its a RWD car.. once the traction is needed it becomes AWD. this system is pretty similar to the murceliago.
