4G93 SOHC...ohh the good memories. You will have more luck if you search on the regular LAncer board, since they have the 4G94 which is almost the same engine

Try RPW. They've got turbo gaskets for the 4g93.

You really need to wrap that Intercooler pipe, or put a heat shield on your exhaust manifold!!(I would do both) Good job on the turbo install. Looks good.

Why? The 4G93 is a stronger motor. The 4G94 is weaker since it's a 4G93 that's been stroked out. 4G93 also has a better stock IM.

A misconception.

If you have a G93, swapping into a G94 isn't really worth the effort since you can make a G93 nearly the same bore as a G94 w/o the long stroke. If you have a G15, it's a cheap upgrade.

Both have the same flaws when TC'ing the motor: weakness = rods -> pistons -> HG (in whatever order of failure).

Ex: if you have a 97 mirage sedan DE (2392 - carpoint, stock being auto tranny), you can swap into a G94, and your car will still be under the weight of a stock Lancer ES (pre-modernization of current model - 2690 - carpoint, stock being auto tranny). There is no way a G15 to G94 has a weight difference of 300 lbs. You're not stuffing a RB motor or something.

Do you have any imfo on the "1982-1985 colt turbos?"

Those were cool little cars.

Wish we had those in the states. I like the 97-02 model the best. That would be one car I would import, and **** off the civic hb guys.
