Kristin's T2K15 GTR Build - 1000WHP - Boostin Performance
#16
t2k is one of the sickest events I've seen on video to date, they take racing to another level out there. i think i will plan my next vacation around that time and go to spectate. Have fun!

lol, yep. Been working hard to get her ready for TX2K15
Thanks guys!
Took the GTR out for some Test & Tune passes Friday night, after the roll racing was done. First pass off the trailer, she did pretty damn well IMO - 9.3 @ 144mph.
Boost was set at 28psi while we worked to get her dialed in at the track. On the dyno, we saw boost up to 34psi, and she was still looking for more.
We turned it up a little but had an issue with the stock rear axles, which kept us from running the car further. I knew running the stock axles would be a bit of a risk. Oh well, it happens.
Overall I'm really pleased with how the GTR did - from the dyno to the trailer to the track to low 9 second passes her first time out is fantastic.
I can't wait for the weather to break here so I can get her back out again. She's got a lower 9 second pass in her, and has the potential to dip lower too.

Thanks!! The car is a blast, and drives a lot like stock - the gear shifts are so responsive! I know some people have mentioned the Shep 1K is a little loud/whiny, but I don't notice anything.
The axles are ordered, so once those are here, I'm heading to the track. Hoping Mother Nature helps as I'm itching to get back. lol

I've been out to the track a couple of times since TX2K15, getting the GTR dialed in. After the rear axles issue at TX2K, I picked up a set of DriveShaft Shop Pro Level rear axles as well as a set of AMS Performance Alpha GT-R drag slick/wheel package. With these parts installed, the rear axles issue is a thing of the past, and I'm cutting insane 1.2 60ft. I have a handful of 8 second passes out of this AMS Performance Alpha 10 turbo kit within the past couple of weeks, and I know there will be plenty more!!
8.96 @ 142MPH.
The car shut off due to a shift solenoid code (hence the low trap), which we fixed when we got back to the shop, and brought her back out again the following week.
With the shift solenoid code resolved, BP Race Alignment performed, and a few other tweaks done, we were back out at the track, and captured a new personal best ET & MPH!
8.71 @ 158 MPH
8.92 @ 160MPH

I was back out at the track again this past Saturday, and I'm happy to report back with an even quicker ET - 8.63 @ 161MPH!
I'm absolutely loving the way the car drives and feels - feels a lot like stock and still has all of the factory amenities (heated seats, AC/heat, radio, wing, etc). Rides nice and smooth on the street - perfect for dailying, with plenty of power for the track (of course). lol
I can't thank my husband Devin, and our guys enough for all of their hard work and help getting the GT-R to this point. I know these 1/4 mile times wouldn't be possible without them - Thanks guys for everything!!
