Exclamation Need Help !!

I replace my stock lancer rims, they were 13" & I replaced them with 17"...
There is alot of vibration.. I got the tires & rims checked, there is nothing wrong with them.
So can some one tell me what to do..?!
Do I miss something.. Should I modify something in my car??

I think you need to check your alignment.
I have 17"s on my car and i get vibration in between 60 and 70 I need to get my alignment fixed so you might have the same problem. Whenever you change the size and weight of your tires the alignment is going to be different... That is what my friend told me at least.

Who checked them, and what did they check? Is the vibration constant, is it speed dependant, or what?

Most vibrations are from an out-of-round tire. Alignment issues will not typically create a vibration, although if you had a severe case it could (combination of toe-in plus camber could generate wheel hop but would require significant variation in both).

The ODOMETER (which measure distance travelled as we all well know) is the gauge that would have to get recalibrated. However that's only if the larger wheel and tire diameter is great or smaller than the diameter of the original OEM pieces.

Thank you all for replaying..
Yes I did the alighnment, but still the car vibrates in between 100-120km..
I got the tires & rims checked by specialist.. but he didn't fins any problem with them...
So is it because of the bigger rims...?!

Theoretically it could just be the tire and rim combo. Any time you're rolling on a substantially shorter sidewall tire (in your case 14 -> 17) you're going to feel a lot more road feel since there's less rubber to deaden the vibrations.

You shouldn't need an alignment unless it was bad to begin with you you changed the height of your car. You may have a different rim size but the tire is also smaller. If the diameter of the tire is greater or smaller than stock you can get recalibrated but it won't be off by much. You should only be off by a few miles per hour.

I would guess the rims are out of round, the tire/rim was not balanced right, or your just not used to low profile rim/tire.

I worked for discount tire and make sure they did a dynamic balance on your new wheels. That means that weights are placed on either side of the rims to balance out both side. If they balanced your rim static, which is one side or center, you may be feeling vibration because of this.

I hope that helps.

and see if they balance your wheels, some times you can tell by small metal weights in your that they put on your rim
