Who's interested in a day of Go-Karting in New Castle, DE?

I went to a new facility, that should be opening tomorrow, but I went there today. Its called Mid Atlantic Grand Prix. It is a large indoor facility which houses a nice fast track and very nice go-karts. The facility is brand new, as are the 4hp, 6.5hp, and 9hp karts. It is located right off 495 on Rt 13 in New Castle, DE, just south of Wilmington. I imagine this will be interesting only to people in Baltimore, Philly, and the Tri State region. Im posting here because Delaware falls under Mid-A, and the name of the place is Mid-A too. I thought this would be a nice place to have a meet. They offer group rates, as well as a conference room if we wanted to use it. This is really just a feeler as I have no concrete number on prices or when the facility will be open.

there website is midatlanticgrandprix.com

I took these pictures yesterday. The owner was so nice and let us have 2 free sessions for showing up and helping move a few karts

I am really interested in getting a team togeather for a league. We where told it will be 5 man teams that will compete for 10 weeks. I cant tell you how smooth the track / carts are. I've been to 2 places in Germany that I thought where awesome but because these carts are so smooth its a little better than the Euro ones!

My friend is getting togeather a team from nasioc so perhaps we can get a little EVOM vs Nasioc competition

We just got back from running 4 races today. My roommate hit a personal best of 23.017 and I got it down to a consistent 23.7 lap with a personal best of 23.4!

cant wait to meet up with you guys!

I recommend buying a membership its $25 dollars, gets you one free race, you get a t-shirt, and once enrolled you can get some nice discounts. For instance I paid 48 dollars for 3 races which is a savings of about 10 dollars compared to just paying the regular. My friends purchased an 8 race package for $110.00.

The leagues are going to start Oct 14th, and its going to be $160 a person for 10 weeks! Here's the link for the leagues!

we will probably be back this weekend

Man, go karts just suck ever since the ones in Japan. I love them, they're great fun, but they just don't hit speeds upwards of 50mph like they do at the Mt. Fuji track.

Anyhow, how much is it for the 9hp gocarts? Also, let me know if you go Kendall.
