Rim repair shops in Illinois?

I'm looking for some wheel (rim) repair shops in Illinois. Does anybody know of any good ones or any at all for that matter? Thanks in advance!

Rim repair

did you mess up aftermarket rims or your stockies? if you messed up the stockies you might as well get used ones for dirt cheap on the privates wheel and tires.

I messed up two of my stockers. However they are my winter stockers. For the summer I have brand new evo 9 rims with new advans. I mainly just want to get on of the rims foxed b/c the lip is severely damaged, however the tire pressure holds w/o a problem. Fixing it is usually cheaper though. Around $100 or less.

I'm interested in finding a repair guy, too. My aftermarket wheels are beginning to chip.

I've used TruWheel http://www.truwheel.com/index.htm for wheel repair on Volks and they did a fantastic job for a reasonable price. You literally cannot see where the wheel was ever damaged. I got a wheel box from a local tire store, sent it off well packed by FedEx Ground, and it was back in about 10 days, perfect. Highly recommend these folks!

you should post in the regional forums...not evo general as this doesn't apply to 95% of us

Did they completely rework the entire wheel? I'm having problems only with the lips on my wheels. Thanks for the info!

I've seen rims with pieces missing from them come back to life. Curb rash is not a problem. Hell, they'll even polish the lip if you want.
