i live in DTC and was wondering where everyone gets their oil changed? the dealer is overpriced, so i was wondering if it is ok to take it to a regular shop like jiffy lube etc..

I just take mine to Qulity Misubishi to make sure I get the right oil and so I can get a free car wash. Or I just do it my self.

As long as they use a high quality fully synethic oil such as Mobil 1 in the correct grade (10/30 or possibly 5/30 in the winter...I'll be sticking to 10/30 year round) you should be able to take the car elsewhere besides the dealer. I had my first oil change at Grease Monkey. Both Grease Monkey and Jiffy Lube should offer Mobil 1 but they aren't cheap either...dunno how much your dealer wanted...but you'll pay around $50. Many places will also grease fittings, check differentials, etc...ask what you with the oil change. I may try and shop around for my next oil change. Maybe I'll see you fellow Evo's on the road around town
