That's some WHP. Can you share the details of any gearbox and clutch modifications that were done to handle this power? By my reckoning your engine is turning out 550 bhp at the flywheel.

-157,3XX miles
-~7 years

P1833
P2809

My transmission is done.
Don't know if I should scrap this car and look for a new one, replace trans, or rebuilt it.

I should probably add. I bought the car stock with 88K on it, the stage three tune is only about 15k old, and 99% of my driving is on the highway, which is probably why the SST hasn't expired yet!

I'm on the original clutches at almost 255000 km, with considerably more than 300 at the treads, the ECU has been deflowered twice but the TCU is still a virgin. (I have more like 400 at the wheels, but with the freeway miles I do I don't suppose I use even half that, beyond the occasional rush of blood to the head)

250000 km, for the last 60000, 4somethingwhp/340kw, 510nm tq. I bought it stock with 88000km, ran a basic 270kw tune for about 100k (still a claimed 490nm though) and the stage 2 tune is about 60k old

That's a pretty good odometer reading for how long you've had tunes on it.

Hey bro,
Bought it stock with about 88000km,
stage one tune (270kw/490nmtq) @ around 150000km

stage 2 (340AWKW, 520nm... 400kw at the fly) I'm guessing around 200000km. Mostly hwy K's since then. Had I been less gentle with it I'm pretty sure I'd have destroyed the clutches already.

Close enough, either way definitely makes me feel a little better about wanting to turn the power up and still have it reliable.

Out of curiosity, how many trans flushes have you done? and how often?

Hey dude,
I think I've changed the trans fluid thrice... I probably should do it more often but the fluid is $88 per litre, with labour it costs me the best part of $500, a sum that I don't often just have lying around!
