s-awc service required

whats up all.... my cat hasnt been driven for 17 days. This morning i got in it for the first time since and after warm up i drove about 1/2 mile and the service required came on for the s-awc. Has this happened to anybody else and what does it mean? i read the owners manual and it said to warm up the fluids and turn off and back on again. I did that and the warning came back on after driving a few feet. Thanks for any help

my s-awc service required came on when I was doing donuts in the snow. It went away and I never did anymore donuts. Car seems to be running fine. I'm scared to bring my car to the dealer.

I got the same warning, and now I have a brand new AWC pump. The new one has a delay on the pump until the fluid is heated up. The old style pump was burning up do to lack of lube on cold days. The pump was about $2,200 CDN.
