TC-SST clicking and clunking noises.

When driving at slow speeds <40, with the car either warmed up or cold (doesn't seem to make much difference), I've noticed that in normal-manual or sport-manual, the tc-sst makes weird clunking and clicking noises that can also be felt through the pedals slightly, especially when doing an unexpected downshift. For example, I'm accelerating from a light, I go 1-2-3-2-1.

When the car expects me to shift to 4th, and preselects that but I go back down to 2nd instead. It doesn't always do that. It's occasional and usually happens when I'm shifting below 2000rpm. Anything above that and the engine rev matches pretty well. It sounds almost like a someone doing a bad downshift.

The car seems to be working 100% fine otherwise. I haven't driven or ridden in another car with the tc-sst so I don't know if it's normal or not. Does anyone else's tc-sst make weird clicking and clunking noises?

Does this do it in Sport mode as well? Are you in manual mode or auto-manual mode?

My sst is also very clunky which I dont mind. I heard that after a tune it may become less clunky?
I dont think its clunkines but, I love the way the shifts are so strong in Ssport mode (it makes my head snap back).

My SST is a clunking machine. and I also experience the bad downshifts and even upshifts sometimes you are talking about. I had AMS send me a new map that helped out at first but the more I drove the more it came back. I think it adapts to your driving style which for me I like to get on it, let off and shift. Get on it a bit again and shift, etc. So when I don't do that I think it's expecting me to let off the gas and shift.

All those sounds are normal. Only a whine / siren sound means you're F'd

I have a 2nd and 4th gear deacceleration whistle/whine at low rpm when completely off the gas. Everything else seems normal. Can you provide more information cause you just freaked me out. Found a post with someone stating the same observations but no one responded to the guy....

Well my transmission is still doing the off-throttle whine. Doesn't seem to be an issue. The sometimes clunky 2-1 shift seems to be gone after I did this:
