Dodson heat sump vs. SSP Titan

Living in New Mexico, heat is ALWAYS a huge problem. I'm driving a 2013 Evo X MR, and I definitely need to get an SST cooler.

Dodson Heated Sump Kit - $1186

EVO Titan Series Front Mount Transmission Cooler - $1099 (though it's probably worth getting the extra bumper mounting kit and wiring harness)

Both appear to be highly reviewed, and are at a similar price point. The Dodson seems to regulate temperatures as well as just cool them though.

Dodson for sure. Bringing the trans up to temp quickly is vitally important. From talking to Dodson, when most people get the "slow down" warning, especially at autocross or the drag strip, its from the cold transmission slipping the clutches. Then it gets full power to it and the clutches slip too much, and you get the slow down warning. The over heat temp is like 300*, which is likely only being hit when hot lapping at an HPDE/track day.

Just about EVERY auto trans car made has a heat exchanger with engine coolant. It brings the trans up to temp quicker to improve operation, and is excellent at regulating the trans temp. Why the Evo didn't come with one is mind boggling.
