SST with ebcs
Hi everyone,
I've seen a comment somewhere that mentioned a ebcs can cause a problem with the SST for MR's I've tried searching but no results unfortunately. I'm about to bring my MR in for a dyno tune and the EBCS is my last piece I'm thinking of purchasing. Any input would be appreciated!
Thanks,
J

Just make sure your tuner know how to adjust the SST table...

The car already has EBCS's from the factory. An aftermarket one isn't going to hurt anything.

As mentioned before, our cars already have a ebcs stock. Upgrading should be higher in your priority list and not last. It was the second thing on my list.

All evo x come with two small solenoids that are controlled by the ECU. Upgrading to an "EBCS" is just replacing one of the solenoids with a more controllable blocking arrangement valve. The other valve just gets looped to itself. In short: NO there is no MR issue at all and the EBCS is the best way to manage boost on an EVO X.
