Removing my AC

I"m trying to find out what I need to do to remove my air conditioning. Do I need to do something with the belts that are driving the AC?

Has anyone done this ?

Kyle go to mitsu and get the 04 RS Non AC Serp belt. if they cant figure it out we got one here.

where ur pulling the stuff under the dash pull the dash itself out. there are a TON of little brakets and braces that can be removed. about 50 pounds worth of crap under the dash.

Thanks Greg..

I'll check with them. Do you sell the belt?

50lbs on top of the A/C components in the engine bay ?

kyle under the dash is where the weight is. as far as we found. if its going to be a track car just pull all that stuff out. if you want to keep the heater/ac ducting just the front stuff is heavy

sub 2800 for sure..how far under i really dont know right now. motor is out of the car. when it goes back in we will have some numbers. the car is WAY lighter than it was at CMP 2802lbs wet. thanks mainly to a new cage, a bunch of lexan, and some new dry carbon parts for the front and rear. only weight we added to the car was the air jacks.

if autozone has a belt... get it.. the mitsu one was 55 our cost. (our dealer discount blows nuts, even though they come over here with tech questions the MF)

Do you have access to the Lexan windows? are they custom? I'll buy!

I can have them made for you. no problem, the only thing is we removed the little rear windows in the back and made it one piece. We are taking the car back over to do a new rear window and can have them make a new full set for your car. using ours as a templet. PM and let me know what your looking for.
