I look at it this way. I want to autox, do some occasional arrive & drive karting and possibly track days. That leads me directly to a SA full face helmet. None of them may specifically require the SA part, but I like the added safety.
For autox I like something with large eyeports so you maximize peripheral vision. I've got a Bell BR-1 now and it's great.
I would check out the rules for anything you might do and buy one helmet to fit all of it. You'll keep it for quite awhile. Also buy the newest Snell rating possible, I think right now it's 2005.

Don't buy a helmet based on the way it looks online!! You must try on different helmets and find out which one fits the best. Not every head is shaped the same, and the same goes for helmets. The size rating doesn't mean it will fit well. Also the helmet should be very snug when you buy it. Remember you have to wear this for extended periods of time, you want it to fit well.

SA2010 should be out soon. But SA2005 will be good for a long while.

I have the HJC SI-12 helmet for my track use and I love it. It is sooo light. You would be amazed on how a heavy helmet will put a strain on your neck after a long weekend.
Also if you order from(as long as them item is in brand new condition) us you can always send it back for a different size or a full refund you just have to pay freight both ways.
